St. Catharines has launched phase one of a new building permit application portal, allowing those looking to build or renovate in the city to easily apply and pay for permits online.

This initial stage allows residents, contractors and developers to fill out and track permit applications to construct, renovate, add on to, or demolish structures like houses, semi-detached houses, townhouses, apartment buildings and hotels. School zone safety reminders

As a new school year begins, the City of St. Catharines would like to remind residents that dropping off and picking up students will cause a lot of traffic congestion. Illegally stopped or parked cars are a safety risk as they make it hard for other drivers to see pedestrians, particularly children, crossing the street.

St. Catharines Fire Services lays 84 charges in connection with Keefer Road explosion

St. Catharines Fire Services has laid charges in the aftermath of the explosion and subsequent fires that occurred at 20 Keefer Road in Port Weller on Jan. 12, 2023.

The City of St. Catharines is offering a free webinar focused on applying to the St. Catharines Cultural Investment Program (SCCIP).
