Fill out the application

Please complete the Tax Rebate Application for Charitable Organizations and provide evidence of the following:

Proof of current status as an eligible organization (i.e., copy of Canada Revenue Agency Confirmation of Registration)
Square footage of space occupied and total square footage of the building your organization occupies
Proof from landlord, in writing of property taxes included in lease payments for current year or property taxes paid

Submit the application

You should submit the complete application to City Hall located at 50 Church St. Applications must be submitted between January 1 of the tax year and February 28 of the following year.

Eligibility

To qualify for the property tax rebate, your organization must meet the following eligibility requirements:

Charitable organization registered with Canada Revenue Agency
Paying commercial or industrial property taxes on the property you occupy
