Older Adult Centres

The City of St. Catharines offers a variety of recreation and leisure programs at our three older adult centres! Make new friends, get involved, volunteer and keep your mind and body active with our many opportunities.

Active Living Fair 2026

Join us Monday, March 2 for our 50+ Active Living Information Fair at the Dunlop Drive Older Adult Centre.

We’re inviting adults 50 and over and their family, friends, and caregivers to our information fair focused on staying active, healthy, and connected. Admission is free.

The Active Living Fair runs from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Learn about City of St. Catharines programs and staying active through volunteerism, browse the vendor fair and enjoy lunch with guest speakers.

Friday, Jan. 30. Doors open at 5 p.m., dinner follows at 5:30 p.m. with entertainment from 7 to 9 p.m.

Dunlop Drive Older Adult Centre, Large Hall, 80 Dunlop Dr.

Admission is $40 and includes dinner provided by Classic Caterers.

Dunlop Drive Older Adult Centre, Small Hall, 80 Dunlop Dr.

Lunch at noon provided by Flavour Fuel followed by performance of This is Anne Older and Wiser. A retrospective of Anne Shirley Blythes life, created and performed by Maja Bannerman, accompanying music from Rusty McCarthy.

Tickets are $15 and include lunch.

Membership

With an older adult centres' membership, you can participate in activities at all three older adult centres, as well as older adult drop-in programs at community centres. Programs are open to members and to residents for a single-entry fee. Memberships can be purchased in person at any of the centres or online through ActiveSTC.

Rates and fees

Our older adult centres' 2026 rates and fees include the following prices (all prices include HST):

Older Adults' Centre Membership Card (Adults 50+, January to December): $64.10
Older Adults' Centre Membership Card (Adults 50+, April to December): $48.15
Older Adults' Centre Membership Card (Adults 50+, July to December): $32.25
Older Adults' Centre Membership Card (Adults 50+, October to December): $16.20
Older Adults' Centre Membership Card (Adults 90+): No charge
Older Adult Class Single Entry Fee (with membership): $2.40 per class
Older Adult Class Single Entry Fee (without membership): $3.85 per class
