Come learn about local groups and organizations in the Niagara Region in our Community Engagement Series. Located in our outside Farmers Market area each Saturday starting May 13, visitors have an opportunity to learn about culture and recreation within the community from drumming demonstrations by members of First Nations to playing box hockey with Bones.

Market Takeover - Harvest Pie Festival Oct. 5 |

Join us at Market Square on Thursday, Oct. 5 as the St. Catharines Downtown Association and the Niagara Folk Arts Multicultural Centre take over the Farmers Market in a partnership with the City of St. Catharines. The Harvest Pie Festival runs from noon to 3 p.m. and will feature sweet and savory pies from local bakers and other small businesses. $5 from each pie sale will support local charities with Scotia Bank St. Paul St. branch matching donations up to $3,000. Live on the Market Stage from 11:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. is The O'Deadlys. While there, why not visit the Farmers Market with over 30 local food, farmers and artisans to choose from. In the outside event area, you can take a Fall snap shot in our free Selfie Booth, visit Adam's Flora's 'Build your Centerpiece' booth to put together a conversation starter for your holiday get together or visit Emine at the Facepainting_Canada booth to have beautiful artwork applied!
