You can use your smartphone to pay for parking in downtown St. Catharines using the Honk Mobile App.
You can download the app for free on both iOS and Android on the Honk Mobile website or via the App Store on iPhone or the Play Store on Android devices. Using a single account, you can pay for parking anywhere Honk is accepted across North America using VISA, MasterCard, American Express or PayPal.
You can use the app in St. Catharines to park for up to three hours in the parking lots surrounding City Hall and Market Square. Metered parking spots are intended for short-term visits and have three-hour limits. Honk users will also pay a $0.45 fee per transaction along with normal parking rates.
Find and pay for parking in the City's HONK zones here by searching for your specific zone or viewing the map. Signs near parking spaces show zone numbers and include a link to the Honk website.
