The Grantham Rail Trail will be undergoing some pavement repairs this week.
Rankin Construction Inc. is tentatively scheduled to start the work on July 9, 2024. Repairs will be made to the sections between Ridgeview Ave. and Carlton St.; Linwell Rd. and Tecumseh St. (parallel Clover St.); plus Atherton Ave. and Tecumseh St.
The repair process will include two days of asphalt pavement removals and granular base repairs, as well as two days of asphalt paving.

The City of St. Catharines is modernizing its parking system by removing all remaining coin-only single-space parking meters.
The City will replace these outdated meters with a combination of HONK pay-by-phone zones, pay-and-display multi-space meters, and two-hour parking restrictions.
