Shuttle buses will be available beginning at noon on July 1st. They will depart from Seymour Hannah Sports and Entertainment Centre and run on a continuous loop to Montebello Park until 11pm.

Celebrate Canada Day with the City of St. Catharines at the annual community STC 150 Canada Day Celebration in Montebello Park. This free, family-friendly event brings residents and visitors together for a day filled with live entertainment, cultural experiences, community activities, local food vendors, and interactive attractions. From live music and performances to hands-on activities and community showcases, there is something for everyone to enjoy while celebrating Canadian pride and the vibrant spirit of St. Catharines.
Designed for all ages, the event encourages families to experience every aspect of the STC 150 Canada Day Celebration together. Children, parents, and grandparents can enjoy interactive games, creative activities, entertainment, and community programming throughout the day in a welcoming and inclusive atmosphere.
A spectacular evening drone and fireworks display at Rennie Park is sure to creatin a memorable Canada Day experience for the entire community. This is an outdoor event, rain or shine. If significant weather delays are anticipated, we will let you know through announcements on our stage monitors. Line-up may be subject to change. |

| Yes! Families are encouraged to enjoy the event together! As the STC 150 Canada Day Celebration may be loud at times, we recommend (bring your own) earplugs or noise cancelling headphones for children. |

| What should I wear? |
| The STC 150 Canada Day Celebration happens rain or shine. Pack weather-appropriate clothing: raincoats, jackets, hats and sunscreen, etc. You should bring a warm sweater for the evening concert as it often gets chilly at night. |
| What kind of seating is available at the STC 150 Canada Day Celebration? |
|
There are lots of ways to enjoy the evening Main Stage – dancing, standing, sitting or reclining on a blanket or lounging in a low chair. Be a good neighbour and keep the access path clear so that everyone can enter and exit safely. Designated areas for accessible seating are available in the Pavilion.
Blankets are placed in the designated area in front of the stage. Low chairs can be placed behind blankets and all other chairs behind the low chairs.
Those with high backed chairs blocking others may be asked by the event team to move. Please only take the space that you need.
Wagons must be parked outside of the audience seating area. |
| Are there activities for children? |
| There are many activities available for children of all ages. Children under the age of 12 must be accompanied by a guardian in the children’s area.
As the STC 150 Canada Day Celebration can be loud at times, we recommend bringing (your own) earplugs or noise cancelling headphones for children. |
| Is there mobile device charging? |
| We recommend bringing your own power pack or charger. |
| Can I bring my camera? |
| Yes, you may bring your camera, however professional audiotape or video recording of concerts or workshops is not permitted. |
| Why would STC 150 Canada Day Celebration personnel take my picture? |
| In consideration of admittance to the Canada Day STC 150 Canada Day Celebration, guests and vendors acknowledge the right of the event and its successors and assignees to use their likenesses and/or voices, as may be obtained by filming, picture taking or recording during the STC 150 Canada Day Celebration, without any written release or further compensation, for any purposes whatsoever. |
| Can I bring my pet to the STC 150 Canada Day Celebration? |
| No. Only registered service animals are allowed on the site. All service animals must be harnessed. |
| If I lose an item at the STC 150 Canada Day Celebration, what should I do? |
| Please go to the Lost & Found located at the Information Booth to reclaim your lost item. Found items will be taken to the Seymour Hannah Sports and Entertainment Centre Guest Services office located at 240 St. Paul Street, after the Canada Day STC 150 Canada Day Celebration. |

| The STC 150 Canada Day Celebration’s Lost & Found is located at the Information Booth located at the main cross roads. |
| Is merchandise available? |
|
Take a memento from the STC 150 Canada Day Celebration home with you! Artist and STC 150 Canada Day Celebration merchandise will be available to purchase in the pavilion. Find CD’s, vinyl, souvenir shirts, hoodies, hats and other collectables from present to past St. Catharines. Debit and credit are preferred with cash accepted. |

Absolutely! You can also bring a picnic if you’d like – but without any outside alcoholic beverages.
Many food options are available. |
| Can I bring my own food? |
|
Yes, just make sure to place your recyclables in the appropriate recycling bins onsite and minimize the amount of garbage you leave behind. Please understand that all items will be subject to bag checks.
Note – the STC 150 Canada Day Celebration is plastic water bottle free, so bring along your own water bottle to stay hydrated, and refill onsite. |
| What are my options if I have a dietary restriction? |
| A wide selection of hot food entrees, portable food and beverage options for a variety of palettes. Please keep in mind that campfires and charcoal barbecues are not permitted |

| Are alcoholic/non-alcoholic beverages available for purchase? |
|
Yes. Stop by the Bar Tent for beer, craft beer, cider, and coolers. Non–alcoholic beverages are also available. The entire park is a licensed area. Please, no outside alcohol permitted.

| Smoking/vaping tobacco, cannabis, and/or other substances is prohibited on the entire STC 150 Canada Day Celebration grounds. |
| What can I bring? |
|
Only bring what you need.
Bags and backpacks are permitted onsite as well as food, travel mugs, sports bottles, etc. Note – all bags will be checked.
STC 150 Canada Day Celebration gate staff/security have the right to search any items brought onsite and dispose of contents under the suspicion of alcohol and/or drugs.
Any non-alcoholic beverages are permitted to be brought on site and must be unopened.
NO alcohol, drugs, audio/video recorders, or fireworks/firecrackers/open flames are permitted.
Blankets and tarps used to sit on while viewing the shows are acceptable, but can not be larger than 8 by 10 feet. |

| Getting there - What form of transportation can I use to get to the STC 150 Canada Day Celebration? |
| You can walk, bike, bus or drive to the STC 150 Canada Day Celebration. Parking is available in surrounding parking spaces, surface lots and garages for FREE. Immediate parking is limited due to space constraints. See parking map HERE |
| Is there a place to leave my bike? |
| Yes, there is unsupervised bicycle parking available near the main gates. Bikes cannot be brought onto the site. Do not lock your bicycle to the perimeter fencing. |
| Is there a shuttle service available? |
|
Yes, two free shuttle bus routes operate to the STC 150 Canada Day Celebration site from Seymour Hannah Sports and Entertainment Centre where ample free parking is available. Click here for the schedule and map. (coming soon) |

Are strollers, wagons and bags allowed on the shuttle bus? |

Yes, they can be left in the bus aisles as long as they are secure. |

Can I bring my bike on the shuttle bus? |
|
Bicycles are not allowed on buses. Unfortunately, our school bus shuttles are not equipped with bike racks. |

How do I get downtown? |
|

Is there accessible vehicle parking onsite? |
|
Yes, very limited accessible parking is available on Queen Street between Midland and Lake Streets for those who already possess a government issued accessible parking pass. |

ACCESSIBILITY - Are the STC 150 Canada Day Celebration grounds accessible to those using wheelchairs/with mobility challenges? |
| Yes, the STC 150 Canada Day Celebration strives to make our site accessible to all patrons. Throughout the site you’ll find accessible washrooms and seating areas. Most of the STC 150 Canada Day Celebration site is flat, grassy or paved. Our staff and volunteers will be eager to assist. |

SAFETY - How does the STC 150 Canada Day Celebration ensure my safety? |
|
The STC 150 Canada Day Celebration partners with emergency services such as St. Catharines Fire, Niagara Regional Police Service (NRPS), Medical First Responders from St. John’s Ambulance, and provides a deployment of licensed security professionals.
Various healthcare and public safety personnel will be on site throughout the day.
Any STC 150 Canada Day Celebration event ambassador (identified by their volunteer t-shirt) can assist you in locating First Aid or security services.
If you are unable to reach these areas, please ask any volunteer to help you, or call 911. Tell the operator that you are at the STC 150 Canada Day Celebration at Montebello Park on Ontario Street in St. Catharines and give them your exact location on the STC 150 Canada Day Celebration site. If possible, ask the nearest person to advise a volunteer so that the STC 150 Canada Day Celebration organizers are able to meet emergency personnel and bring them directly to you.
• First Aid is located adjacent to the main stage and can handle any minor cuts, scrapes and issues. For more serious issues, EMS Services will need to be called,
• Star Security Team and our Site Safety volunteer team can be found at critical locations on site, including perimeters, entry points and throughout the general site.
• In event of emergency, NRPS can be called and provide assistance. |
| What to do if there’s a lost child during the STC 150 Canada Day Celebration? |
| Children can be registered at the Information Booth so that in the event of separation, it will be easier to reunite them with their parent/guardian. If you become separated from your child, or find a lost child proceed to the Information Booth. |
