Dive into family fun at the St. Catharines Kiwanis Aquatics Centre with extra Leisure swims and aquatic programs, including drop-in swimming lessons, all week. Regular admission and supervision requirements apply. Pre-registration is recommended to reserve your spot in the pool.

Celebrate World Water Day with the City’s Environmental Services team Wednesday, March 18 at the St. Catharines Kiwanis Aquatics Centre. Visit the City’s booth in the lobby from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. to play trivia games for a chance to win prizes and make your own button in support of World Water Day.
Have an ‘ice time this March Break with public skating programs for all ages. The City has scheduled additional skating programs at Seymour-Hannah Sports and Entertainment Centre and Bill Burgoyne Arena. Regular admission and supervision requirements apply. No equipment rentals are available.

Head for the Port Weller Community Centre for family fun. Challenge family and friends to some of your favourite board games Monday, March 16, play with Big Blue Blue and race toy cars on the BlueTrack Wednesday, March 18, and try painting and sewing with Creative Bug Friday, March 20.

Young people can learn basic First Aid and other skills to stay home confidently and become successful babysitters with St. John Ambulance’s Babysitting Course on Tuesday, March 17 and Home Alone course on Sunday, March 22.

Explore the St. Catharines Museum and Welland Canals Centre over the break with drop-in programs everyday from March 16-20. Paired with the museum’s new “You are Here” mapping exhibit, every day is a new adventure with two unique children’s activities at 10 a.m. and noon exploring historical mapping skills and the sense of place in St. Catharines. Participants will hear stories, create maps, use a surveyor's chain, hunt for treasures, and have fun. Programs run about one hour. Admission by donation. No registration required.
