Roll up your sleeves and do a little spring cleaning with the City of St. Catharines this month at Fairview Park.
The City and the Clean City Task Force invites residents to pitch-in at the annual Spring Clean Up Meet Up Saturday, April 25 from 10 a.m. to noon. This year’s spring cleanup tackles litter and other garbage at Fairview Park at 285 Geneva Street.
The Clean City Task Force is a volunteer group established to organize and support community-focused litter reduction and pick-up activities and events. The spring cleanup is an annual tradition and a good opportunity for students to collect volunteer hours.
During last year’s cleanup, volunteers collected eight bags of garbage from Roehampton Park and the surrounding area.
This year, volunteers will gather at Fairview Park near the path in the area behind Zehrs at the Fairview Mall. Parking is available nearby at the Fairview Mall. Supplies will be provided.
Registration is not required. Visit the City's Clean Up Meet Ups webpage for more information.
