
The City of St. Catharines has issued its 2026 final residential and commercial property tax bills. Bills were mailed and made available through the e-Billing portal on June 5, 2026. Property owners who have not received their bill should contact Citizens First at 905-688-5600.
Final tax bill installment due dates are:
• June 30, 2026
• September 29, 2026
A late payment charge of 1.25 percent will be applied to payments received after 4:30 p.m. on the due date, with additional charges applied on the first day of each month until the balance is paid in full.

Property owners can also sign up for e-Billing to receive their property tax bills electronically. E-Billing provides secure, convenient access to tax information and helps ensure timely notification when new bills are available. To register, visit Paperless e-bills - St. Catharines. Customers already enrolled in e-Billing should ensure their email address is current and check their junk or spam folders if they do not receive bill notifications.
Property taxes can be paid:
• Through your financial institution’s online, telephone, or in-person banking services by adding the City of St. Catharines as a payee;
• Online by credit card at stcatharines.ca/PayOnline (convenience fees apply); or
• In person at City Hall, Monday to Friday, from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., using cash, cheque, or debit.
Cheques may also be deposited in the after-hours drop box at the James Street entrance of City Hall or mailed to:

Cash should not be placed in the drop box or sent by mail.
Residents are encouraged to make payments several business days before the due date, as processing times through financial institutions may vary.
Property owners should reference your 19-digit roll number which is also your account number located at the top right corner of your bill when making payments.
