Application A-27/26 seeks relief from the City of St Catharines Zoning By-law 2013-283, as amended, for the following variances for a proposed 30-unit, 3 storey apartment building:
- A reduction of the minimum front yard setback from 3.0 m to 1.2 m.
- A reduction of the minimum rear yard setback from 4.5 m to 1.2 m.
- A reduction of the minimum lot area per dwelling unit from 45 sq m to 39 sq m.
Hearing Participation
- Please submit any comments in writing to the Secretary-Treasurer by 4 p.m. on April 23, 2026, or you can appear in person and make a verbal presentation to the Committee. Please note that all Committee of Adjustment Hearings will be held in-person at City Hall on the 3rd floor in Council Chambers. City Hall is located at 50 Church Street, St. Catharines, Ontario (Please use the James Street entrance).

- An appeal to the Ontario Land Tribunal (OLT) may be dismissed if no written or verbal submissions were made at the hearing before the Committee gives or refuses to give approval to an application. Pursuant to the More Homes Built Faster Act, Appeals may be submitted by the Applicant, the Minister or a specified person or public body that has an interest in the matter.
