Minor Variance Application details (A-28/25)
Application A-28/25 seeks relief from the City of St. Catharines Zoning By-law No. 2013-283, as amended, for the following variances to facilitate the expansion of the front porch and the installation of a rear covered patio attached to the existing garage:
- A reduction in the minimum setback from the front lot line for a platform structure with a height above grade of more than 0.6 m and less than 1.2m from 3m to 2.13m.
- A reduction in the minimum interior side yard setback for an accessory structure (existing garage) with a height of 4.5m or less from 0.6m to 0.46m.
- An increase in maximum permitted lot coverage for an accessory building or structure from10% to 14.15%.
