Winter parking ban, significant weather event declared

Due to the current and forecasted weather conditions, the City declared a significant weather event and winter parking ban as of noon today (Jan. 15).

Residents must move their vehicles off the street to avoid fines and towing. Those who fail to comply will be subject to a $40 ticket and potential towing at their expense. Visit www.stcatharines.ca/winterparking for more information.

The significant weather event means standard winter maintenance timelines are suspended, but it does not mean reduced service levels.
