Application A-04/26 seeks relief from the City of St Catharines Zoning By-law 2013-283, as
amended, for the following variances to facilitate an accessory dwelling unit (ADU) within the
rear yard of the subject lands to permit:
- A reduction in the required parking spaces for an accessory dwelling unit (ADU) from 0.5 to 0.
- An increase to the total lot coverage of all accessory structures on a lot from 10 per cent to13.5 per cent.
- A reduction to the minimum required landscape open space from 35 per cent to 30.9 per cent.
- An increase to the maximum total parking area coverage permitted on a residential lot from 20 per cent to 23.3 per cent.
