Minor Variance Application details (A-19/26)
Application A-19/26 is made under Section 45 (2) (a) (i) of the Planning Act for permission to enlarge a legal non-conforming use (kennel). The Applicant proposes to enlarge the existing building by 259 m2.
Hearing Participation
- Please submit any comments in writing to the Secretary-Treasurer by 4 p.m. on April 8, 2026, or you can appear in person and make a verbal presentation to the Committee. Please note that all Committee of Adjustment Hearings will be held in-person at City Hall on the 3rd floor in Council Chambers. City Hall is located at 50 Church Street, St. Catharines, Ontario (Please use the James Street entrance).

- An appeal to the Ontario Land Tribunal (OLT) may be dismissed if no written or verbal submissions were made at the hearing before the Committee gives or refuses to give approval to an application. Pursuant to the More Homes Built Faster Act, Appeals may be submitted by the Applicant, the Minister or a specified person or public body that has an interest in the matter.
