Free Seminar Offers Older Adults Financial Strategies for a Longer, More Secure Retirement

Local older adults are invited to attend a free seminar designed to help them make their money last. The event, titled How to Become a Super Senior & Make Your Money Last as Long as You Do, will be held at the Dunlop Drive Older Adult Centre, hosted by “The Money Lady” Christine Ibbotson.

Known for her warm, honest, and practical advice, Ibbotson will offer her strategies for attendees to boost their health, stretch retirement income, reduce taxation on RRIF withdrawals, and avoid common financial pitfalls.
“This talk is ideal for anyone who is retired or wants to plan ahead,” said Simone Phelan, the City’s Older Adult Coordinator. “Christine’s presentations are engaging and informative, leaving participants inspired and prepared.”
Advance registration is required. The seminar is free but is subject to space constraints.
