Applications are now open for the final round of St. Catharines Cultural Investment Program (SCCIP) funding for 2025.

The deadline for Arts Development, Culture Builds Community, and Festival Programs applications is Sept. 18 (for projects starting Jan. 2026 or later). There will also be a virtual info session on Thursday, Sept. 4 at 6:30 pm on Zoom. Cultural Services Staff will give a short presentation on the programs, provide tips for the grant-writing process, and answer questions.

SCCIP offers six program streams tailored to specific priorities, eligibility criteria, and evaluation standards. In June, City Council approved $360,500 in funding for Sustaining – Core and Midsized Programs and the Arts Development, Culture Builds Community and Culture Days Activity Programs. The remaining $91,000 in the SCCIP budget for this year will be allocated to the successful applicants to the Sustaining - Festival, Arts Development and Culture Builds Community Programs.

Applications will be reviewed by members of the St. Catharines’ Arts and Culture Advisory Committee, who will then make funding recommendations to City Council.
