Arts and culture will take centre stage for three weeks this fall as the City of St. Catharines celebrates Culture Days.
A diverse range of interactive live performances, events and workshops are planned from Sept. 19 to Oct. 12, 2025. The Culture Days festival is held annually across Canada for people of all ages.
In 2025, Niagara is being featured as a provincial Festival Hub. Festival Hubs serve as local community leads for Culture Days, helping visitors find events and learn more about the festival. Hubs represent a selection of the diverse communities within Ontario and present a high volume of quality programming for all ages during Culture Days.
City of St. Catharines is celebrating our highlighted weekend of Sept. 26 to 28 with several free, family-friendly events throughout the city, starting with a Culture Days flag raising on the front lawn of City Hall, 50 Church St., on Friday, Sept. 26 at 4 p.m. That will be followed with the opening of the City’s Annual Juried Art Exhibition, “Layers”, in the gallery space on the third floor of City Hall at 5 p.m.
“Culture Days is a fantastic opportunity to showcase the incredible creativity, diversity, and talent in our community,” said Culture Supervisor Jessica Wilson. “We’re proud to support our community partners’ events that bring people together to celebrate arts and culture. These celebrations help strengthen community bonds, support local artists, and remind us of the vital role culture plays in shaping our shared identity.”
This year, our community partners’ events include:
All events are free, but some require pre-registration. Find the full list of Culture Days events happening in St. Catharines at stcatharines.ca/CultureDays or on the Culture Days website.
