Charitable Recipients
Niagara Children’s Centre – Oksana Fisher - Chief Executive Officer
“As a beneficiary, the Children's Centre will be able to deliver more therapy support and services to children and youth in #Niagara with physical, developmental, and communicative delays and/or disabilities. The donation ensures that their programs, such as Recreation Therapy, can continue to support families living in the region.”
Niagara Health Foundation - Andrea Scott, CEO
"We are immensely grateful to Mayor Siscoe for his generous contribution of $25,000 from his 1st Annual SCORE Charity Golf Tournament. His dedication to supporting our community's health and well-being is truly inspiring. This donation will make a meaningful impact towards much needed priority equipment at Niagara Health. We couldn't be more thankful for his continued support of the Niagara Health Foundation. Together, we are making a difference in the lives of Niagara patients and families."
BBBS of Niagara – Erin Graybiel - Executive Director
“Big Brothers Big Sisters has utilized a portion of these funds to prepare children and youth in our community with a back-to-school shopping experience through The Big Start campaign. The remaining funds will allow Big Brothers Big Sisters to establish more wraparound supports to assist families of young people enrolled with Big Brothers Big Sisters when they are facing urgent needs. Both initiatives thanks to support from Mayor Siscoe's golf tournament will help ignite the power and potential of young people!”
Young Caregivers Association - Cayleigh Sexton, Executive Director
“The funds provided by the Mayor’s Golf Tournament is crucial for Young Caregivers Association to continue offering free programming right here in the city. We support 5– 25-year-olds who are in a caregiving role at home, due to chronic illness, disability, mental health challenge or addictions. Our programs consist of social recreation programs, life skills, counselling, and clinical groups. With this funding, we can support our local programs giving kids, teens and young adults a chance to connect with peers, provide new skills and offer constant support for a hidden population of caregivers. Thank you for helping support and validate our young caregivers right here in St. Catharines”.
