On Saturday, July 26, the St. Catharines Downtown Association is having their Annual Block Party and partnering with the Farmers Market! Along with your weekly variety of farming and artisan vendors, extra activation and activities will be in place from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. such as:
- Live music on the Market Stage 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. with Charles J Hunk - Assorted games such as basketball, box hockey, ring toss, and more - A large assortment of food vendors to choose from

Did you know that we are celebrating 15 years this year for the Market Discovery Table?! This interactive series highlights local farmers and provides the opportunity to learn about a seasonal produce item, including its history, nutritional value and preparation ideas. Come savour what fresh picked tastes like as we feature our farmers and for our young patrons: make a fun craft.

Saturdays from mid-May to mid-October Music in the Square runs every year, featuring local performers live on the Market stage from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Special performance times: Saturday, July 26 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. for special event, St. Catharines Downtown Block Party Saturday, Sept. 27 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. / noon and 2 p.m. for the annual Grape and Wine Parade

Mid-May to mid-October Come learn about local groups and organizations in the Niagara Region in our Community Engagement Series. Located in our outside Farmers Market area each Saturday. Visitors have an opportunity to learn about culture and recreation within the community from drumming demonstrations by members of First Nations to spinning the wheel of fun with Brock.
