Some residents in the Merritton area of the city of St. Catharines may experience low water pressure for part of the day on Wednesday, Oct. 18, 2023.
It’s due to unexpected Regional water main repairs on St. David’s Road. Work is scheduled to begin at 7 a.m. Oct. 18, with service expected to be back to normal by early afternoon.

St. Catharines Fire Services has temporarily relocated Station 2 personnel and equipment from 192 Linwell Road to 19 Brock Street.
Response times will not be impacted by this relocation.
The relocation will allow for the demolition of the current fire station, followed by the construction of a new one which is expected to be completed in the next two years.
