As the weather starts to get cooler, several City of St. Catharines attractions and facilities will be closing for the season.
Splash Pads: Splash pads across the City will be closed for the season as of Oct. 7.

The City of St. Catharines is reminding residents about measures they can take to prevent flushing back pressure in their plumbing systems.

Pursuant to By-law No. 2007-310 (as amended by By-law No. 2010-116), Notice is hereby given that it is Council’s intention to discuss A By-law to regulate the Delivery of Graphic Images in the City of St. Catharines at the Council meeting of Monday, Sept. 25, 2023, which is scheduled to commence at 6 p.m.

School zone safety reminders

As a new school year begins, the City of St. Catharines would like to remind residents that dropping off and picking up students will cause a lot of traffic congestion. Illegally stopped or parked cars are a safety risk as they make it hard for other drivers to see pedestrians, particularly children, crossing the street.
As a reminder, if you are dropping a student off at school, please:
- Use the school’s designated drop-off area
- Keep clear of driveways, entrance ways and bus stops
