The City of St. Catharines has paid parking, on and off street, and at 2 municipal parking garages. Curbside parking is available at sign specified spaces which allows 15-minute parking if you are going to local businesses for pickup and takeout.
The parking meter rate is $2 per hour and there is a three-hour maximum daily parking limit from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. on street and in hourly metered lots. Metered parking is free outside these hours; however, on street parking in the downtown core is prohibited from 3 a.m. to 6 a.m.
All day parking is available at the Ontario St garage, Garden Park/Carlisle St garage, and at the St. Paul/Westchester parking lot.

Pay with Honk Mobile
The City of St. Catharines has partnered with HONK to offer pay by phone parking. You can download the app for free on both iOS and Android on the HONK Mobile website or via the App Store on iPhone or the Play Store on Android devices. Using a single account, you can pay for parking anywhere HONK is accepted across North America using VISA, MasterCard, American Express or PayPal. Find and pay for parking in the City's HONK zones here by searching for your specific zone or viewing the map. Signs near parking spaces show zone numbers and include a link to the Honk website.
