Leash-free Dog Parks

You can visit two City-operated leash-free dog parks in St. Catharines at:

• Burgoyne Woods
• The Carol Disher Leash Free Dog Park at Catherine Street Park

Dog park rules

• Parks are open dawn to dusk.
• Use parks at your own risk
• Users are subject to the Dog Owner's Liability Act
• Dogs must be leashed when entering and exiting the leash-free areas
• Only dogs under 16 inches are allowed in the small dogs area at Burgoyne Woods
• Dogs must be kept in sight and under verbal control
• Children must be supervised
• No food, glass or toys
• Clean up after your dog
• No puppies under four months old
• No female dogs in heat
• No sick dogs
• No aggressive dogs or dogs requiring a muzzle
