Older Adult Centres

The City of St. Catharines offers a variety of recreation and leisure programs at our three older adult centres.

Welland Canal Fallen Workers Memorial

Join us on Wednesday September 23 at 10 a.m. at St. Catharines and Welland Canals Museum, 1932 Welland Canals Parkway as we learn about the Welland Canal Fallen Workers Memorial.

This monument honors the 137 men who died during the construction of the fourth Welland Canal between 1913 and 1932.

Pre-order your tickets for $12 each and includes a box lunch catered by Chef Paul's.

Note: please pre-order your tickets in advance at Dunlop Dr Older Adult Centre. or online by September 16th.

With an St. Catharines Older Adult Centres membership, you can participate in activities as well as older adult drop-in programs at City Community Centres. Programs are open to members and to residents for a single-entry fee. Memberships can be purchased in person at any of the centres or online through ActiveSTC.

Our older adult centres' 2026 rates and fees include the following prices (all prices include HST):

  • Older Adults' Centre Membership Card (Adults 50+, January to December): $64.10
  • Older Adults' Centre Membership Card (Adults 50+, April to December): $48.15
  • Older Adults' Centre Membership Card (Adults 50+, July to December): $32.25
  • Older Adults' Centre Membership Card (Adults 50+, October to December): $16.20
  • Older Adults' Centre Membership Card (Adults 90+): No charge
  • Older Adult Class Single Entry Fee (with membership): $2.40 per class
  • Older Adult Class Single Entry Fee (without membership): $3.85 per class
