Mayor Walter Sendzik's Biography
The City of St. Catharines is taking COVID-19 seriously, and declared a State of Emergency on April 3, 2020. The City is making significant changes to services and programming to help protect health and well being of the community. Please visit www.stcatharines.ca/covid19 for the latest information.

At the Mayor's 2020 State of the City address, Mayor Sendzik thanked community members who shared their favourite memories and St. Catharines pride on social media. The Mayor distributed postcards of these contributions as a reminder of what has been accomplished and what we have to be proud of.
The STC Pride postcards are all available on the Mayor's Facebook page and at the Mayor's Office at City Hall. Thank you for sharing your STC pride!
Thank you to everyone who submitted an original piece, it was great to read all the different perspectives of the theme 'Always Together'.
Congratulations to Shelley Locke, winner of the Mayor’s Poetry Contest with her submission of 'Hope Floated. You can view her poem here.
