The City of St. Catharines Recreation & Community Services Department offers many different areas of recreational pursuits for the young and old. The department presently maintains approximately 1,400 acres of parkland and open space for use by residents. Please remember, parkland is intended for use by all St. Catharines residents. Rules and regulations must be obeyed in order that we provide a safe and pleasant leisure environment. By-law Number 70-57 is intended to protect, manage, regulate, govern and control all public parklands and community centre premises under the authority of the Corporation of the City of St. Catharines.
