Monthly Lots & Garage Permits

In downtown St. Catharines, monthly parking is available at City owned parking lots for a nominal fee. Due to the high demand for parking in the downtown core, all parking permits are issued on a first come, first serve basis.

To purchase a monthly parking permit for a surface lot, visit Citizens First, located on the 2nd Floor of City Hall between the hours of 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., Monday to Friday. Methods of payment include cash, cheque, debit, VISA and MasterCard.

If you are looking to obtain a monthly parking permit for either the Ontario Street Garage or Garden Park/Carlisle Street Garage, read and complete the Monthly Parking Agreement Form prior to coming into City Hall.

Scotties Tournament of Hearts information for permit holders

The 2017 Scotties Tournament of Hearts will be held at the Meridian Centre from Thursday, Feb. 16 to Sunday, Feb. 26.

There will be two draws every business day of the tournament at 9:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. We expect parking volume at our parking garages on Ontario Street and Carlisle Street/Garden Park to increase before the start of each draw.

Public parking is available for the Scotties and other long-term visits to downtown at our parking garages. Permit holders can usually find parking in our parking garages and are entitled to enter and exit the garages freely throughout the day. However, the expected increase in demand for parking due to the tournament may limit the number of spaces available throughout the day.

To ensure permit holders have access to parking during the Scotties Tournament of Hearts, we encourage permit holders to limit exiting and re-entering the parking garages for the duration of the tournament, especially preceding the start of daily draws.
