Government plays an important role in the lives of every person. It's government that decides how resources will be allocated in an effort to meet the needs of society.
The links in the navigation menu will lead visitors to information about how government decisions affecting residents are made. St. Catharines residents are served by four levels of government: the City of St. Catharines, the Region of Niagara, the Province of Ontario and the Government of Canada. This section will connect visitors to all four.
St. Catharines citizens are invited to apply to serve on the Clean City Committee. City Council encourages anyone interested to consider volunteering for this opportunity to play an active role in the community.
The Clean City Committee is dedicated to the removal of litter within the community. Members will assist in facilitating community involvement through promotion and education in an effort to improve the natural environment and beauty of the City.
The Committee is recruiting five members.
Additional information regarding the Clean City Committee may be obtained by contacting jbernard@stcatharines.ca or call 905.688.5601 ext. 2123.
