Mayor Mat Siscoe's Holiday Card Challenge

Mayor Mat Siscoe is now accepting submissions for the Mayor’s Holiday Card Contest. Mayor Siscoe is inviting elementary school aged children (ages three to13) to take part in a competition to design his annual holiday card by submitting a holiday drawing that follows the theme “Holiday Magic in St. Catharines.” Participants can draw anywhere in St. Catharines - it could be their favourite place to eat, play, or visit, or their favourite holiday traditions. Anything that showcases the magic of the holiday season.

Submissions for Mayor Siscoe’s Holiday Card Contest must:

Be on a standard 8.5" by 11" sized paper.
Be created by one or more of the following: crayons, finger painting, pen / ink, marker, watercolor, acrylics, or digitally.
Not have glitter, stickers, or shiny designs.
Include your first and last name, address, and telephone number on the back of the artwork.

All entries must be submitted by Nov. 14 at 4:30 p.m. to ensure enough time for printing in time for the holidays.

Four winners will be chosen for the Mayor’s 2025 Holiday Card. Cards will feature the winner’s drawings, as well as their first names and ages. The winners will receive a special St. Catharines themed prize pack.
