Let's talk parks, rec and culture pricing logoLet's Talk Parks, Recreation and Culture Pricing

The City of St. Catharines Parks, Recreation and Culture Services department is looking for your input on what recreation and culture activities and programs you value most!

This community outreach is a part of the second phase of the Let’s Talk Parks, Recreation and Culture Pricing initiative.

Phase 1: The Pricing Policy

The goal of the policy is to develop a consistent approach for how the City charges for parks, recreation and culture programs and services. Consistent pricing will also allow the City to put funds where there’s most value to the community.

The development of a pricing policy is a recommendation within the City's ten-year Recreation Master Plan, and a priority for the Recreation Master Plan Implementation Advisory Committee.

During Phase 1, the City of St. Catharines held focus groups with St. Catharines residents to gather feedback on the City’s current parks, recreation and culture services pricing structure and what residents value most about parks, recreation and culture services programming. Focus groups were composed and interviewed in February and March of 2018.

Phase 2: Community Values

The City of St. Catharines needs your help in identifying what the community values with respect to recreation and culture activities and programs.
