Minor Variance Application details (A-64/25)
Application A-64/25 seeks relief from the City of St Catharines Zoning By-law 2013-283, as amended, for the following variances to facilitate a proposed private road development comprised of one 8-unit apartment building (Block A) and two blocks of townhouses (Blocks B and C) with 5 and 6 units respectively. Each townhouse unit is proposed to contain an accessory dwelling unit (ADU).
- A reduction in the minimum interior side yard setback from the rear wall for townhouse dwellings (Blocks B and C) within a private road development for an M1 zone where not abutting an R1 or R2 zone from 6 metres to 5.2 metres.
- A reduction in the minimum landscape buffer for a parking area containing between 20 and100 spaces along a lot line not abutting a public road (westerly lot line) from 3 metres to 2 metres.
