Oct. 24, 2016 – The City of St. Catharines recognized four outstanding properties with real curb appeal with 2016 Trillium Awards.

Mayor Walter Sendzik and ward councilors congratulated four recipients who truly put the garden in Garden City when they visited the winning gardens to personally thank the gardeners and property owners for their hard work and present their Trillium Awards.

“I’d like to thank the Trillium Award winners for their work in making St. Catharines a more beautiful city and helping to enhance our image as the Garden City, especially during such a challenging growing season this year,” said Mayor Sendzik. “It’s clear that many residents take great pride in their properties which contributes towards our goals of making St. Catharines a more green and sustainable city. These Trillium Award gardens really thrived and stood out in their neighbourhoods.”
