The City of St. Catharines places community collaboration at the heart of our community building, and we know how important our residents are to helping the City grow. St. Catharines is comprised of unique, distinct and diverse neighbourhoods, and by bringing these groups together is an opportunity to not only contribute to quality of life for the City as a whole, but also support local goals and priorities.

Join us for and help build a stronger community

When: Saturday, March 28, from noon to 3 p.m.

Where: Russell Avenue Community Centre, 108 Russell Ave.

Why: Working together with community partners, the City is developing a program for the day that will help provide an opportunity for neighbourhood associations and groups to network, build relationships and identify opportunities for collaboration.

Who: The City of St. Catharines is working with community partners, including Niagara Community Observatory at Brock University and Niagara Region Community Services, and neighbourhood leaders. We are also thankful for the support of Local Immigration Partnership, which aligns with the City’s strategic objectives to connect people, places and neighbourhoods and enhance inclusion, accessibility and civic pride.

The Program

The agenda will include facilitated discussions, networking, an opportunity for input into the Niagara Region's Community Safety and Wellbeing Plan and interactive neighbourhood mapping.

City staff will also provide a children’s activity area to encourage parents and caregivers to attend and participate.
