Mayor's Free Family Day Skate

Join Mayor Walter Sendzik and City Councillors for an afternoon of free skating and hot chocolate.

  • 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
  • Seymour-Hannah Sports and Entertainment Centre
  • 240 St. Paul St. W.

Lace up your skates an have an 'ice time with the family. Other public skating programs, including Preschool Stick and Puck, are available throughout the day for a minimal fee.

Leisure Swims

Jump in the pool and enjoy free leisure swims throughout the day.

Pop Up Play Tent Fun Zone

Enjoy free games, crafts, face painting, the Big Blue Blocks and other fun, free family activities.

Museum Tours

Behind-the-Scenes Museum Tour

Take a behind-the-scenes look at the Museum's collections, spaces not normally open to the public.

Toddler I-Spy Tours

Enjoy a fun-filled and fast-paced I-Spy tour through the gallery
intended for three- to six-year-olds, accompanied by an adult.

  • 10:30 a.m., 12:30 p.m., and 2:30 p.m.

Black History Month tours
Follow the North Star Exhibition

Hear the dramatic stories of Fugitive Slaves as they arrived
and settled in St. Catharines and celebrate Black History
with a guided visit to this award-winning exhibition.

  • 11:30 a.m., 1:30 p.m., and 3:30 p.m.

The following City of St. Catharines facilities will be closed for Family Day, Monday, February 17:

  • City Hall
  • Enterprise Centre

St. Catharines Transit

St. Catharines Transit will operate on its holiday schedule on Family Day, Monday, February 17.

Transit returns to its regular schedule on Tuesday, Feb. 18. Visit www.yourbus.com for more information about bus schedules and routes.
