Join the City of St. Catharines for a traditional Christmas concert and let the sounds of the season set the tone for the holidays.

Now in its 29th year, the Civic Christmas Carol Concert has helped residents usher in the holiday season and raised about $100,000 for Community Care of St. Catharines and Thorold.

2019 Concert Details

Tuesday, Dec. 10
St. Thomas Church - 99 Ontario St.
Doors open at 11:30 a.m.
Concert begins at noon.

Admission is free (Donations will be accepted on behalf of Community Care of St. Catharines and Thorold).

  • The St. Catharines Civic Brass Ensemble will join with some of the best singers in the city to perform classic Christmas carols.
  • Concertgoers are encouraged to sing along with the performers.
  • Ross Stretton will conduct this year's massed choirs: Holy Cross Catholic Secondary School concert choir and Laura Secord Secondary School concert choir.
  • Leslie Kingham will be the organist.
  • Dr. Gervan Fearon, president of Brock University, offers his perspective on the meaning of Christmas as guest speaker.
  • The Civic Christmas Carol Concert will be procuded by Dave Sisler.
