Summer Concerts in the Park  

Summer concert in the park

Enjoy the sounds of local musicians Wednesday nights from July 12 - 26 and August 16 - 30, 2017. Montebello Park will be filled with music from 6pm - 9pm, bring your blanket or lawn chair and come enjoy the evening air.

ONTour Special Ontario 150 Celebration with Amanda Marshall, Michelle Treacy and Mélanie Brulée

As part of a year-long line-up of events marking Ontario150 and celebrating the province, the free ONtour concert series will provide the soundtrack for the Summer of '17, stopping in communities across Ontario and showcasing some of our brightest homegrown musical talent. All of the ONtour concerts are free and open to music-lovers of all ages and there are no tickets required.

Please note: There will not be a licensed area during the Aug. 30 Summer Concert but food vendors will be on site.

Food - Wine - Beer & Cider

Make a whole evening of it - head over to Montebello Park and grab a bite to eat at Johnny Rocco's Pizza Wagon and On The Bench or something sweet from Marble Slab Creamery on site each night.

 

Enjoy a bevarage in the licensed area in the pavilion where Niagara College Teaching Winery and Niagara College Teaching Brewery will be serving up its beer and wine for those over 19 years old. 

Please note: There will not be a licensed area during the Aug. 30 Summer Concert but food vendors will be on site.

Rain Policy

Summer Concerts take place rain or shine. The covered pavilion and bandshell are available for seating every night.

Cancellation due to severe weather will happen by 4 p.m. day of showing. Please follow our Facebook page or Twitter feed for cancellation notices and updates, or call Citizens First at 905.688.5600 by 5 p.m.

Call for Musicians - Application information

Each year the City of St. Catharines presents a variety of live music programs at Market Square, Montebello Park and various special events. These concerts bring alive our parks and green spaces, enhance our farmers market and add vitality to the urban area.

The City of St. Catharines accepts applications to be included in a pool f performers throughout the year. Find the Call for Musicians and online application form on our Call to Artists page.   

Applications will be kept on file and artists are welcome to update their information at any time. Past applicants do not need to re-apply. Only re-apply to update your file.
