National Child Day

The City is celebrating National Child Day on Monday, Nov. 20 with skating, swimming and a show at the FirstOntario Performing Arts Centre.

The FirstOntario Performing Arts Centre is offering discounted tickets for Theatre Direct Canada's Old Man and the River - a story of friendship told through puppetry and music.

About National Child Day

National Child Day is celebrated around the world every year on Nov. 20 to recognize the adoption of the United Nations Declaration of the Rights of the Child in 1959 and the Convention of the Rights of the Child in 1989.
