Bruce Trail
The Bruce Trail is a continuous footpath (no bicycles are permitted) which follows the Niagara Escarpment, extending from Niagara-on-the-Lake to Tobermory. A 20-kilometre section with associated side trails winds through St. Catharines and provides access to this truly unique and priceless natural treasure. Points of interest along the route include Short Hills Provincial Park, Morningstar Mill, Brock University and all of the historical Welland Canals (including the modern shipping canal). Please take special care when using the trail by following marked routes, obeying trail signs and respecting trail etiquette. For further information and membership applications, please contact the Bruce Trail Association Hamilton office at 905-529-6821, or locally at 905-356-3876, or consult the Bruce Trail Reference Guide available at local outdoor stores and bookstores.
