Physical Well Being

Yoga on front lawn of City HallPhysical Wellness is the ability to recognize and appreciate the relationship between healthy habits and physical health.  It is the combination of muscular and cardiovascular strength, endurance and flexibilty.  It is a routine, a mindset and the ability to balance moving and nourishing our bodies daily allowing it to thrive.  

Hydration Tips to increase water intake:

  • Drink a glass of water upon waking
  • Sweeten water with fresh fruit
  • Invest in a water bottle you love
  • Track your progress throughout the day
  • End your day with warm water and lemon

Put your best foot forward - Tips to meet 10 000 steps a day:

  • Start your day with a walk in your neighbourhood
  • Park your car furthest from the entrance
  • Choose the stairs instead of the elevator
  • Mid-morning and Mid-afternoon 10minute walk outside
  • End your day with a walk in your neighbourhood
