Description

Port Dalhousie Pool has a large and small pool that operates during the summer months.

Large Pool: Port Dalhousie Large Pool is a 25 metres x 13 metres, six lane pool that varies in depth from 1.2 metres to 2.6 metres. All swimming activities have a capacity of 165 patrons which includes in the pool and on the deck.

Small Pool: Port Dalhousie Small Pool is 12.19 metres x 15.24 metres. The pool is 0.9 metres at the deepest point. All swimming activities have a capacity of 128 patrons which includes in the pool and on the deck.

Hours of Operation

Public Swim Large Pool

July 1 to Aug. 29, 2010
Monday to Friday 1 p.m. to 4:45 p.m.
Saturday and Sunday 1 p.m. to 4:45 p. m. and 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.

Small Pool

July 1 to Sept. 6, 2010
Saturday and Sunday 1 p.m. to 4:45 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
Monday to Friday 1 p.m. - 4:45 p.m. and 5:30 p.m. - 7:30 p.m.

Lengths/Deep Water Walking/Adult Public Swim

Monday and Friday 11 a.m. to 12 p.m.

Holiday Hour

Port Dalhousie Large and Small Pool are open on holidays

Scheduled Closure

All pools will be closed at 4:45 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 26, 2010 for the 15th Annual Lifeguard Competition.
