Port Dalhousie Older Adult Centre

Port Dalhousie Older Adult Centre is a small centre located in an old fire hall next to the Port Dalhousie Library. The facility is used for senior recreation drop-in programs.

Small Hall

Used for older adults drop-in programs only.

Large Hall

Used for older adults drop-in programs only.

Hours of Operation

Monday: 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Tuesday: 12:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Wednesday: 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Thursday: 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Friday: Closed

Saturday: the first Saturday of the month 6:00 p.m. - 10:00 p.m., except in July and August

Sunday: Closed

  • Facility operating hours are dependant upon program and rental schedules.
  • Schedule is subject to change.

Port Dalhousie Older Adult Centre is closed on holidays.

Older Adult Centre Membership Cards (50 years +)

An Older Adult Centre Membership Card is required in order to use and participate in the activities. Your membership is valid at all 3 Older Adult Centres and may be purchased and any of the 3 Older Adult Centres.

Yearly membership $52.00

Pro-rated rates as of -

April $39.00 July $26.00 October $13.00

Memberships for individuals 90 years of age and older, no charge.

Be Our Guest Cards are available to try our programs for 3 free visits.

Some drop in programs require an additional fee.

Large Gym/Hall Rental (Capacity of over 150)

Port Weller Gymnasium, Russell Ave Assembly Room, Dunlop Drive Large Auditorium, West St. Catharines Main Hall, Jack Gatecliff Upstairs Lounge, Lockview Lounge museum, Laurence & Irene Locke Room - Kiwanis Aquatics Centre

Per hour to a maximum charge of 8 hours per day
$39.15 (including tax)

Large Meeting Rooms (Capacity of 56-150)

Russell Avenue Meeting Room, Dunlop Drive Small Hall, Port Dalhousie Main Hall, Meridian Room - Seymour-Hannah, Jack Gatecliff Community Room, Burgoyne Room - Museum, Irene Locke Room - Kiwanis Aquatics Centre

Per hour to a maximum charge of 8 hours per day
$27.90 (including tax)

Small Meeting Rooms (Capacity of 55 or less)

Dunlop Drive Craft Room, Port Weller Meeting Room, Russell Ave. Craft Room, Meridian Room A or B - Seymour-Hannah, Laurence Locke Room -Kiwanis Aquatics Centre

Per hour to a maximum charge of 8 hours per day
$18.10 (including tax)
