Overview
Lockhart Point is a park of historical significance as it contains Lock One of the second Welland Canal. It provides views into the Port Dalhousie Harbour. The second canal continued upstream along the route of Twelve Mile Creek and then followed the path of Hwy. 406 through the downtown core. This park is located in the Port Dalhousie Ward. There is a passive area to view the remains of the lock and parking nearby. The park is along the route of the Port Dalhousie Harbour Walkway Trail and connects to the Waterfront Trail. This park is 1.53 hectares.

This park is accessible from dawn to dusk
This park is available for permit 6 a.m. to 11 p.m
