Overview
Kiwanis Field is the City of St. Catharines' first artificial turf field. It is large enough to accommodate regulation Canadian Football League games, FIFA soccer games and field lacrosse.
The artificial turf extends the playing season, giving teams the ability to host matches from mid-April through to mid-November. It also means fewer game cancellations because of inclement weather while the extension of the season enables more people to participate in field sports.
This accessible facility has four changerooms with showers and washrooms that can be converted to two football changerooms.
The field is fully lit with computer-programmed lighting to accommodate night games. It is available for use during practice and official matches.
