St. Catharines features three scenic beaches on the shores of Lake Ontario for visitors to soak up the sun, take a leisurely stroll, a dip in the lake or to relax and watch the sunset. The beaches of St. Catharines are connected by the Waterfront Trail.

This quiet, unsupervised beach is located in a protected bay on Lake Ontario, with a picturesque view to the lake and small lighthouse beacon.
1 Lakeport Rd.
A picturesque beach on the south shore of Lake Ontario situated in historic Port Dalhousie. Stunning views of the Port Dalhousie harbour, lighthouse and the north shore of Lake Ontario.
Transient dockage is available on the west pier in Port Dalhousie for visiting boaters. For more information and docking fees call 905.688.5601, ext. 1570.
1 Lombardy Ave.
Municipal Beach is located in the Grantham Ward, along the shore of Lake Ontario. This park has 365 metres (1,200 feet) of sandy beach to enjoy. Children can play safely in the playground area. There are picnic areas with barbecues for visitors. The park can be accessed by car and there is a large parking area. For those walking or cycling to the park, it is located on the Waterfront Trail and is in close proximity to the Welland Canals Parkway Trail. This park contains a boat launch ramp and washroom facilities. This beach is unsupervised.
A free public boat launching ramp is available to all citizens at Municipal Beach for small and personal watercrafts during the boating season within daylight hours.
