TRANSPORTATION ENVIRONMENTAL STUDY REPORT FOR THE QEW GARDEN CITY SKYWAY

The Ontario Ministry of Transportation (MTO) retained WSP to complete the Preliminary Design and Class Environmental Assessment Study to determine a long-term strategy to address the structural, traffic safety and operational needs of the Queen Elizabeth Way (QEW) crossing of the Welland Canal. This included the generation and evaluation of alternatives for the QEW Garden City Skyway bridge.

A Transportation Environmental Study Report (TESR) has been prepared to document the study process and findings.

The TESR is available for a 30-day public review period beginning September 14, 2017 at the following locations, and on the project website (www.qewgcs.ca):
