Weeds & Tall Grass
Purpose
The City of St. Catharines has a weed control by-law and the Recreation and Community Services Department employs a weed enforcement officer to review and inspect properties for which the department has received a weed complaint. The City reviews properties on a complaint basis only.When to Call?
If you are concerned that a property within the City should be inspected for weeds or overgrowth you may submit a complaint to Recreation and Community Services at 905.937.7210. Complaints should be made when the growth on the property exceeds 20 centimetres (8 inches).
