The City of St. Catharines offers many different areas of recreational pursuits for residents of all ages. The Recreation and Community Services Department presently maintains approximately 1,400 acres of parkland and open space for use by all St. Catharines residents. Rules and regulations must be obeyed in order that we provide a safe and pleasant leisure environment.
By-law 70-57 is intended to protect, manage, regulate, govern and control all public parklands and community centre premises under the authority of the Corporation of the City of St. Catharines.
To make a complaint, report a problem or unsafe conditions, contact the Recreation and Community Services department.
Anyone who is in violation of the City's bylaw may be subject to legal action.
