Facility Accessibility Features

Information on the accessibility features at City-owned facilities can be found by sourcing the name of the individual facilities listed below.

Common acronyms and resources:

Facility Accessibility Design Standards (FADS)

Provides a greater level of access than the OBC (e.g. washrooms have larger turning radius and transfer space)

Ontario Building Code (OBC)

Provides basic access (e.g. older washrooms not yet renovated to FADS)

  • Customer Service counter "Citizens First" is your centralized one-stop for answers, located on the 2nd floor
