101 South Drive Property Task Force

Statement of Purpose

The Task Force will consult with staff and make recommendations to Council on the development of the former Glen Ridge School lands.

Composition

The task force will consist of:

  • 2 ward Councillors
  • 4 members of the Old Glenridge Community Association
  • Staff Liaisons
  • 2 staff members
  • DSBN Liaisons
  • 2 individuals representing DSBN will be invited to attend Task Force meetings as guests

Term of Appointments

The term of the Task Force shall be until such time as decisions are made on the development of the property known as 101 South Drive.

Reporting Structure

 The Task Force will report their findings directly to City Council.

Administrative support to the Committee shall be provided by the Planning and Building Services Department, which shall assign a Secretary to the Committee.

Additional staff resources as required from time to time will be provided by the Planning and Building Services and Parks, Recreation and Cultural Services departments.

Schedule of Meetings

The Committee meets monthly, or at the discretion of the Chair.

Other

The Committee shall conduct its meetings in accordance with and  otherwise comply with the City of St. Catharines Simplified Meeting Procedures for advisory bodies.

Notwithstanding the Simplified Rules of Procedure, the 2 ward councilors and the 4 members of the Old Glenridge Community Association shall be the voting members.
